It's really good!!

I think it's a neat concept...

I would like to see the face looking a little more forward (her gaze is off to the side) and the face itself should be a tad bit more centered. I find myself focusing on the other background stuff behind the girl in the eye because she's off center.

Other than that.... colour, dark levels great!

Had a look through your photo manipulations, you favour the dark side don't you

I like the colour or rather shade of red you have chosen, red overall is a very confronting and captivity colour. However I suggest that you don't cut the eye off at the eyelid line. The circular shape would complete the piece in my opinion.

I really like this. Probably my favourite effect that you've incorporated is the texture.. it looks like an old photograph or something. Was that intentional, or am I just commenting on the quality of the picture itself? I like it, anyhow.

Another very cool aspect is that the light source of the face matches the light source of the eye. Great work there, it makes this look that much more believable. The expression is perfect, and matches the colour really well.

The stock is well chosen, I think. Sometimes good pieces are hard to find, but these go together just like that!

Don't be afraid to put in darker midtone - this is a dark piece it could use lot's of shadow.

All in all, great manipulation!
